is meant for students who have achieved a 27+ on an ACT Test or 1280+ on the SAT. The course material is ideally suited for students who have achieved basic foundational knowledge of subject concepts in the ACT & SAT Test & wish to

Time is focused on targeted subject concepts where you need improvement. This approach enables efficient & effective use of student's time to enable optimal ACT or SAT Test results.
Subject strategies for English, Math, Reading and Science (ACT) are taught & rehearsed: strategies are clear, easy to use and effective to help you get the correct answers in a fast paced test.
In order to achieve a composite score near or above 30 on an ACT or 1390 on an SAT, almost no problems can be wrong. We supplement authentic practice tests with multiple Barron's resources to help accelerated students master difficult problems in all subject areas: Results - Success in Getting difficult questions Correct.
Comprehensive review of English punctuation & grammar rules students need to know for the SAT Reading/Writing & ACT English Test is provided. Average student score achievement that we see is: 5-10 points up in English ACT subject area & equivalent for the SAT.
Retired, but authentic ACT & SAT Practice Tests from authors of the ACT & SAT test are used.
Test Preparation is developed with teaching and learning methodology to keep you engaged. The course rigor is similar to a college course as this test requires you to be "College Ready".

About The Instructors
SUMMIT ACT & SUMMIT SAT PREP ™ Instructors are immersed in Test PREP. Each instructor teaches approximately 1,000 hours yearly to prepare students for their BEST ACT or SAT TEST results.

Q: What is the format of the course?
A: Our sessions are 2 hours each. You will see problems and solutions presented by the instructors on the interactive SMART Board. Each student actively participates to engage his or her interest, remaining focused and improving retention. Subject concepts are reviewed for each question missed & guessed on, along with practical & useful test strategies.
Interactive instruction proves worthy results: greater confidence, retention of concepts & higher test score achievement.
Q: What are the prerequisites to enroll?
A: You have taken a ACT.org or SAT (College Board) Practice Test or a Real ACT or SAT Test & received a ACT Test composite score of a 27 + on their ACT or 1280+ on their SAT Test.
Q: Why do you require a ACT Test Composite of 27+ or 1280+ on the SAT to enroll?
A: The ACT or SAT Test composite reflects a baseline or subject foundation of knowledge. SUMMIT ACT & SAT PREP ™ considers a student's ACT or SAT Test achievement. Students come to us with different levels of experience and test pacing.
Q: What do you offer for students who have not reached 27+ on a ACT practice/real test or a 1280+ on a SAT practice/real test?
A: For students who have not yet achieved a 27 + on their ACT or 1280+ on their SAT Test: One on One Foundational ACT or SAT Courses are available. Many students move through the foundational course to a SUMMIT Test PREP experience.
Q: How many students are in a ACT or SAT PREP foundational class and how can we enroll?
A: Pre-Covid, Classes were created for 3 - 6 students who have similar composites and GPA's. Our ACT & SAT PREP have established parameters regarding students' ACT or SAT Real or Practice Test Composite Scores. We maximized each student's depth of knowledge at a accelerated pace. A student's GPA is also considered to ensure comfortable & compatible pacing. A: THE OFFICIAL ACT PREP GUIDE & THE SAT STUDY GUIDE are used for Practice Tests.
Using official or authetic practice tests which are real, but retired from the authors of the SAT & ACT test is the best practice for test preparation. You will become familar with the format of the test, pacing requirements & the subject rigor; by taking multiple tests, you will know your strong and weak subject areas.
Q: What resources do we use to supplement authetic practice tests?
A: Subject problems and passages from Barron's Test Prep resources enhance your depth of knowledge, focusing on difficult problems in the ACT & SAT test. Students gain a powerful command of knowledge & demonstrated skills to reach higher test scores.

Q: What are the technical requirements to participate in online ZOOM ?
A: You can complete SUMMIT ACT TEST PREP ™ or SUMMIT SAT TEST PREP ™ from your computer with an INTERNET connection and speakers. Viewing is best from a Lap top with a larger display.
Q: Will I be able to communicate with the instructor?
A: Yes. You will be able to participate and ask questions when we conference. Our PREP is rich & enhanced with strong student interaction. We keep students engaged to help you stay attentive for the entire session. We say, "Your mind can not go out to the beach". We learn how you think and process. Remembering for the day of the Test is enhanced to REACH FOR 36 ™ or REACH FOR 1600 ™. Our Prep is not video play-back. You will see and hear each instructor online and interactive in-person. You will have 2 instructors.
Q: Are there any prerequisites for the course?
A: We will give you warm up samples & reviews in all subject areas from our SUMMIT TEST PREP ™ SYLLABUS. Following, you will need to complete one ACT Practice Test or one SAT Practice Test.

ACADEMIC OBJECTIVE
Our passion is to influence, develop and preserve a strong positive attitude and a love of learning. By strengthening your skills in all ACT or SAT Test subject areas, English, Math, Reading and Science (ACT), you will improve your results in the ACT or SAT Test, as well as, improve your academic skills in high school, college and in life.

We provide test strategies in each subject area, improving student's radar in detection of the various type-cast questions. Each student learns how to identify when the test question may detour, side-track or attempt to trick them, leading them to select the incorrect answer. Test Strategies can impact a student's pacing, accuracy, focus and potential to further excel on the ACT or SAT test.
