The ACT Test is commonly repeated during the Junior and early Senior year. When you see a 5-9 point gain, it is usually a result of a student taking the ACT Test three, sometimes as many as five times.

I just got my ACT score back and am so excited to tell you I got a35!! Thank you so much for all of your help! I couldn’t have done it without you!

Going into ACT Prep with Mr. & Mrs. Kaliher, I was frustrated & did not think I would ever bring my scores up to where they needed to be. Quite honestly, I was not comfortable with the format of the test, would consistently run out of time, & had no idea what some of the questions on science were even asking?? After getting through most of the SUMMIT TEST PREP SYLLABUS ™ at the beginning, I started to feel more comfortable. I began to learn from my mistakes through Mr. & Mrs. Kaliher's stellar explanations. I used the Barron's Book and the ACT Prep Guide. I noticed a substantial difference in the level of difficulty between the two, with Barron's challenging me the most. However, I now appreciate this challenge. I think it was very beneficial to mess up & run out of time on the harder tests because they prepared me for the hardest of questions. I cannot thank Mr. & Mrs. Kaliher enough for their flexibility, patience, and overall help in preparing me for the ACT. This year has been filled with such uncertainty. However, they were always willing to accomodate my crazy busy schedule and reschedule most of my prep sessions after my tests were cancelled. They have pushed me to try my hardest, and I am confident I will do my best when I finally get to take an official ACT. Although we were virtual for most of my prep sessions, I have always felt welcomed into the positive environment they have created. I went into this entire process being intimidated, scared, and not confident with myself. I have come out prepared, confident, and ready to attack the ACT. In my honest opinion, I would consider the SUMMIT ACT PREP ™ as the most helpful thing I’ve used in my education career. The environment really helps to cater towards my specific needs while taking the ACT test. I think individually my tutors had a lot of knowledge of what they were doing, especially in the ways they could explain the problems I was having and how I can fix them. There are certain things on the ACT test that you could not do without the help of tutors like them. Thank you for all your help with tutoring M. She took her 5th and final ACT on April 8. She got a 25! That is the score she needed for the $10K scholarship at Cedarville University. It is renewable every year as long as she keeps her grade point average up.

At the very beginning of her ACT journey, she took her first practice exam at home and scored 19 (fall of 2015). Then she took a group ACT review course. After the review coarse she took her first ACT exam, getting a 21. We reviewed together and she got a 22, I believe. I believe with your help she improved 3 points.

Working with you both was super helpful. She said she learned several helpful strategies. Paul taught her math concepts that she didn't’t understand. And the science section—I believe she got a 27 on this last exam which was a huge improvement from 19-20’s in the past. It was an investment to pay for the one-on-one tutoring, but it paid off with the scholarship. Thank you!

I wanted to let you know that I finally got my composite score for the second test: 22! 24 English, 18 math, 22 reading and 24 science. My writing score is not yet calculated but as I understand it, the writing score doesn't change my composite score. Since my test scores went from a 27 to “through the roof”, 30, it is obvious this system is effective.  I can’t say I have any complaints other than a heavy workload.  However, I also think the workload is absolutely necessary and I appreciated you guys being flexible with my busy schedule.  I’m sure you will see my brother here soon.  Thank you so much.

I have tried many other ACT PREP tutors before. In the end, they never helped raise my score in areas that needed to be raised. My English was weak and the Barron's workbook has helped improve my score. I personally was not a big fan of the Barron's books, mostly because I didn't look at my Barron's homework and had to cram. I can now say that the Barron's workbooks improved my score. I like the Real ACT Practice Tests because this book had good and fair tests, even if some of the tests differed in difficulty.
